303 Marvel characters from Wikipedia. 1784 directed links. You start at home, get sent
somewhere out in the network, and have to find your way back. The map does not exist until you walk on it.
YOUR MISSION
Find the target. The mission bar names a character somewhere out in the network. Move by
clicking a link out of the page you are standing on — on the map, or in the panel's link list —
exactly like a reader clicking onward. The red compass arrow points the way.
The map is dark. Only pages you have stood on reveal their surroundings. Aim for hubs: the
big names link everywhere, the small ones often nowhere.
Then get home. Once you touch the target the objective flips. The way back is usually
not the way you came: links are one-way, and only 39% point back.
Score. Every click is a step; par is the shortest possible round trip,
computed with BFS on the real graph, and matching it means a perfect route. Stuck?
Spider-sense reveals one step of a shortest route (costs +3 steps).
Web-zip undoes your last step (+2) and is the only way out of a dead-end page.
